Our NBA family is looking forward to May 5, when
Mr.
NEIL
Sauter, Blissfield's famous stilt walker, is
scheduled to visit us. Neil, who
incidentally is Mr. Sauter's son, not only holds
the world record for marathon stilt walking, but
also travels throughout Michigan with an
inspirational message of accepting diversity and
overcoming difficulties.
Neil, who has a mild form of cerebral palsy, is
planning a "Walk through Michigan", to raise
awareness to the challenges of living with
cerebral palsy, as |

way north through the state, over the Mackinac
Bridge, through the Upper Peninsula and on
over to Ironwood at the Wisconsin border.
Sitting almost exactly on the Ohio/Michigan
border, NBA has the honor of being his kick-off
point!
Parents and friends are invited to join NBA's
students at 8 a.m. on May 5, to welcome Neil and
attend the assembly. Neil's message
promises to be highly entertaining as he
includes magic tricks and storytelling along
with a remarkable stilt walking demonstration.
